The Darksiders II Original Soundtrack is now available for pre-order from Amazon and will be released on August 14. From Sumthing Else Music Works, the 2 CD album will be available via digital distribution and at retail outlets worldwide.
The "dark ethereal themes and melodic fantasy," as the product description calls them, were composed by Jesper Kyd, a BAFTA-award winning composer and musician who composed soundtracks for Assassin's Creed, Hitman and Borderlands.

Darksiders 2, sequel to THQ's vaguely biblical hack-and-slash adventure game released in 2010, is also slated for an August 14 in North America, with an undetermined August date for Europe. It has already been delayed, and ws formerly due for release in late June.
