There’s plenty of hype for the upcoming Capcom Resident Evil installment. Known as Resident Evil 7, the video game seems to be going back more towards the franchise’s roots. Gamers will be set in a chilling environment as it seems developers are relying less on the action aspect that the video game franchise has been frequently using and relying on.
One of the biggest changes that are coming for the main franchise installment is that gamers will be playing in a first-person mode. This goes hand-in-hand with VR that has been confirmed for the video game with PlayStation VR.
Capcom has been releasing a number of trailers that gave gamers a slight little insight as to what they can expect with the upcoming installment. Today, the latest trailer is titled Immortal and shows off some slight combat against one of the Baker family members.
You can take a look at the full trailer posted above, but it essentially shows our protagonist fighting Jack Baker and just when he is believed to be dead, Jack rises back up showcasing that the Bakers just might be immortal.
We don’t know if there is a weakness against the Baker family just yet or if players will have to avoid being detected by them throughout the video game. Regardless, we won’t have to wait too much longer to find that out as Resident Evil 7 will be launching on January 24, 2017, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
