343 Industries has released the full sized poster of the upcoming Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn live action series, which features the Master Chief and a host of young cadets in events which take place prior to the first Halo title.
The live action series is set to launch on October 10 on the Machinima Prime Youtube channel and Halo Waypoint. It was briefly showcased at the San Diego Comic Con.
The series will boast respectable production values and will be directed by Stewart Hendler, who previously worked on the horror film "Sorority Row" and the sci-fi web series "H+".
Forward Unto Dawn is not the first time Microsoft Game Studios has attempted to bring the Halo series to film. The studio had previously inked a deal with 20th Century Fox and Universal Pictures to produce a full feature film, but the project was canceled due to budgetary concerns.
