Skyrim Special Edition is out this week, so free up some hard drive space and make sure you’ve got enough room available to install the new version of the game.
Skyrim Special Edition comes with a host of improvements that everyone who’s played the original will certainly enjoy, especially if you plan on replaying it. There’s new graphics that improve the way the game looks and it comes with all the DLCs for the title, in case you missed out on those before.
If you have the PC version of Skyrim, all you need to download the game is to make sure you already own the DLCs for it and you should get an upgrade for free. If you already own the Legendary Edition, the update will be ready for you.
Skyrim Special Edition will also be available on both PS4 and Xbox One, so it’ll be a huge upgrade over your experiences with it on the PS3 and Xbox 360.
Here’s when it unlocks on Steam:

- 8pm Eastern Time (October 27)
- 1am British Summer Time (October 28)
- 2am Central European Summer Time (October 28)
