Assassin’s Creed 3: Here’s What Ubisoft has in Store for Fans at Comic-Con

July 12, 2012 by Alex Co

Ubisoft is bringing its flagship franchise Assassin’s Creed III to Comic-Con in a big way. Read on for details.

Comic-Con is up and running at San Diego and while the convention is mostly about comics and films, games have a very big presence at the event, too.

One of the biggest events happening there is Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed III blowout. From exclusive Comic-Con swag for pre-ordering the game, to the first public hands-on of the game's multiplayer. Those are just some of the things the publisher has lined-up for its heavyweight franchise.

We've detailed what Assassin's Creed III fans can expect if they drop by Ubisoft's booth (#5345).

First up, if you pre-order Assassin's Creed III at the show, you'll get an exclusive free t-shirt. Here's what the t-shirt looks like just in case you're wondering.

Next up, there's going to be a live stage demo of ACIII with Creative Director Alex Hutchinson. This will take place in Room 6BCF on the Upper Level. Better get there fast as it will have a limited seating capacity.

Now for the best part, Ubisoft is giving attendees a chance to play Assassin's Creed III's multiplayer for the first time. The sessions will take place at the Microsoft Lounge, Hard Rock Hotel in the Legends Room.

The schedule on the multiplayer demo is listed below.

  • Thursday, July 12   9:00am – 6:00pm
  • Friday, July 13   9:00am – 6:00pm
  • Saturday, July 14   9:00am – 6:00pm
  • Sunday, July 15   9:00am – 6:00pm

That should satiate ACIII's fans for a bit, no? If you're in Comic-Con and you've played the multiplayer demo, tell us what you think of it.

Assassin's Creed III is scheduled for an October 30 release on the Xbox 360 and PS3.
