Amazon Lists Splinter Cell: Blacklist Release Date

July 9, 2012 by Alex Co

Has another retailer leaked a game’s release date yet again? Sure seems like it…

While Ubisoft has been rather coy in revealing when we can expect Sam Fisher's latest outing, it seems an online retailer has spilled the beans on a game's release date — yet again.

Amazon UK has listed a March 29, 2013 release date for Splinter Cell: Blacklist's Xbox 360 version. Aside from that, they also listed the game's Limited Edition, which will include the following:

– A map of the conflict zone

– The following digital content

  • Exclusive Upper Echelon operational suit (5 armour pieces, with a unique visual and damage protection bonus)
  • Upper Echelon goggles. Simply put, they shine gold
  • A bonus mission

While there's a chance this could be a placeholder date or Amazon UK's pulling it out of their asses, it does seem like the real deal, to be honest.

Now, keep in mind Ubisoft has yet to confirm or deny this; and this is for the UK version of Blacklist, so there's a chance the US version might come out a day or two earlier or later.

Do you think this is the game's actual release date? If so, Q1 of 2013 is going to be very, very busy for gamers.
