Thanks to a press release that was sent over earlier today, we got word that Soren Johnson’s popular RTS video game, Offworld Trading Company, is receiving a brand new DLC called The Patron and the Patriot. This new DLC will be available this month and according to the press release, this will greatly enhance the overall campaign gameplay.
Offworld Trading Company has players fighting other companies in a race to mine precious resources in space. We even had the chance to check the game out ourselves and gave it an outstanding review, where you can read it in full right here.
Today, news released detailing what we can expect from the upcoming The Patron and the Patriot DLC. This new DLC enhances the immersion players will receive in the campaign, more specifically, there will change taking place for colony class and campaign length while also adding a new game mode, characters, campaign stories, staffing perks, and lastly achievements.
Gamers will soon find that now each colony will specialize in one area of the economy while campaign tournaments can now last from four to ten games. The latest game mode added to Offworld Trading Company is Wholesale Orders, where not all of the colonies will want you to build habitats and work modules.
As mentioned above, there are now six interactive short story campaigns where you can check out with the newly added characters, Doctor Mikhail Nekrasov and Manuel Valencia.
