The Halo series is synonymous with great music. Its theme song, composed by Marty O’Donnell, remains one of the best known pieces of orchestrated music in gaming.
The latest title in the series, Halo Wars 2, will feature the work of Gordy Haab and Finishing Move (made up of Brian Lee White and Brian Trifon) who are working hand-in-hand with audio director Paul Lipson to produce a sountrack suitable to the new real-time strategy game.
Today, the developers released an interview with the composers as well as two exclusive tracks from the game. Listen to them below.
Currently in development at 343 Industries and Creative Assembly (best known for their work on the Total War games), Halo Wars 2 will feature large-scale battles with armies from the Halo universe of games.
The title is the latest in the Halo saga and arrives on the Xbox One and Windows 10 PC on February 21, 2017.
