The Recession Bundle Knows We’re Poor

July 7, 2012 by Lana Polansky

But relies on our goodwill, anyway.

Indie Game Bundles is currently hosting the "Recession Bundle" project, an indie game/charity bundle done in the vein of other videogame bundle projects.

This one, however, offers free content with bonus content for those who choose to donate. Donations will be split between the organizers, the developers and SOS Children's Village Croatia, an NGO that provides food, shelter and education for over 250 kids. From the project's page,

"All donations will be evenly split between all parties involved – 10% to Charity, 10% to each of the developers and 10% to the organizers."

As you can see from the video above, the bundle boasts Anna Athropy's Might Jill Off, GZ Storm's Vidiot Game, Tecknopants's Action Fist, Peter Brinson and Kurosh ValaNejad's The Cat and The Coup, Greg Lobanov's Dubloon and Robert Kooima et. al's Neverball, all for free.

Bonus content available for donators includes Eric Billingsleys' Star-Twine and Retro Souls's 8-Bit Night, as well as an unlockable  bonus soundtrack.
