Activision and Infinity Ward have put together a new video for the upcoming Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, this time to showcase the game’s weapon crafting system.
Yes, you will be able to make your own guns in the upcoming shooter, which releases on PC, Xbox One and PS4 next month. While previous videos mainly focused on combat and multiplayer modes, this new one shows how you’ll be able to collect guns, scrap the ones you don’t want for salvage units, and craft the ones you want.
While it’s possible to simply play the game using the guns you find, salvage will allow you to build new legendary prototype weapons that come in four levels of rarity. Common, rare, legendary, and epic. Each tier will have a variety of different perks, which are randomized. The higher the rarity, the better the gun functions.
Today, the beta weekend for Infinite Warfare will go live on PS4.
