Players need to pick up the free Crow Caller item from the game’s Crown store in order to participate. After using the item, a quest called, “The Witchmother’s Cauldron” (using an item called the Witchmother’s Whistle), which you and anyone in your group can morph your character into a zombie. This effect lasts for only 2 hours, but it can be used as many times as you want until the event ends on November 1st.
When in zombie form, you have the chance to obtain Plunder Skulls after killing boss monsters. These skulls contain Halloween-themed items such as masks, recipes, and a Hollowjack crafting motif. After the event ends, you can keep the Whistle, but it will no longer have any powers.
