Namco Bandai and the creators of the "Tales of…" series have confirmed that Tales of Xillia will finally be getting a 2013 release in both Europe and North America. It will only be available on the PlayStation 3.
This announcement was made live at the Japan Expo in Paris, and comes several months after we discovered that the game had been trademarked for both European and US releases.
In addition to the localization of Tales of Xillia, the developers have confirmed that they are working on Tales of Xillia 2 as well as an unnamed Tales title which promises to take the franchise in a bold new direction, offering a more mature storyline and an art direction away from the anime-inspired art style the current games are steeped in.
