Nokia and Namco Bandai have teamed up to provide more frugal phone consumers with classic games for the telecom's inexpensive Asha Touch line. Games range from SoulCalibur to PAC-MAN to Final Fantasy and cost between $0.99 and $2.99 apiece.
The feature phones (Asha 305, 306 and 311) launched in early June worldwide excluding North America. For those that already have the phone, the Namco Bandai games are already available for purchase and download. For those waiting for a poweful, inexpensive phone, the Asha Touch line is expected to ship to the U.S. in Q2 (the 305, for $85) and Q3 (the 306 for $93 and the 311 for $121) respectively. The phones also come with 40 free games for download courtesy of EA.
