Square Enix has put together a new release of Final Fantasy VII for the PC that offers 36 achievements and little else. If you already own the game on the PSP, there's no reason to get it.
The new release of the game is designed to make the game compatible with modern computers, and has fairly low requirements.
In addition to the achievements, Final Fantasy VII for the PC comes with something called a "Character Booster" allowing players to increase their HP, MP and Gil by purchasing booster packs. They're not quite DLCs, but they'll cost you a pretty penny if you're too lazy to grind your characters.
Finally, the game sees the addition of cloud save support, so you won't lose your savegames if you play it on multiple computers.
Square Enix will release the game soon on its online store.
