Crytek has announced the North American and European release dates for its upcoming first-person-shooter, Crysis 2. Crysis 2 will be released on the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 March 22nd, 2011 in North America(US & Canada) and March 25th, 2011 in Europe(UK & rest of Europe).
Many of us were disappointed when the game was delayed from its original Fall 2010 release, but a concrete release date is nevertheless welcomed. Crysis 2 moves the alien invasion from the open island in the first game to the urban jungle of New York City of 2023 in what Crytek is calling a choreographed sandbox The nano-suited hero is the only one capable of dealing with the alien threat and gets new abilities with Nanosuit 2.0.
