Homefront: The Revolution tells the story of a Dystopia future where a unified Korean empire takes over the United States. Every major city is now tightly under the grasp of this military force, and the game’s events center around the rebellion groups trying to free the people from this oppression. Although Homefront: The Revolution got mixed reviews due to performance related issues, that hasn’t stopped the developers from continuing to update the game with new content. The most recent of this is a story DLC called The Voice of Freedom.
You’ll take the role of rebellion leader Benjamin Walker. The objective is to infiltrate Occupied Philadelphia and group up with Jack Parish’s Resistance Cell. It’s a prologue to the events of the main game, and you’ll have to fight through Philadelphia’s the “90” subway to make it to where you need to go. People returning to the game since launch should find the performance patches added in the months since to be a noticeable improvement. Furthermore, Resistance Mode is adding more gear for players to collect: the Urban Combat Outfit, a Black and White Mask, a Gunshot Mask, and a Cobweb Mask.
Players who have the Homefront Expansion Pass will be able to get this DLC for free, but it’s also sold separately for anyone else interested in checking it out. Homefront: The Revolution is purchasable for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. To learn more about the game, check out their website and Twitter.
