This morning, Tecmo Koei announced pre-order and collector's edition details for Dead or Alive 5. By pre-ordering your copy of the fighting title at GameStop or Amazon, you will receive bunny-style swimsuits for three of the DoA ladies (because straight up bunny suits might be more terrifying than sexy). I know, you're probably thinking there aren't NEARLY enough swimsuits in this deal yet. Well, hold your seahorses, it gets better.
GameStop is also packing pre-orders with a "DOA Angels" trio of white swimsuits that can be worn by Kasumi, Leifang, and Hitomi. On the other side of the coin, Amazon will be giving out "DOA Devils" black swimsuits for Christie, Tina, and Ayane.
If these swimsuits just aren't enough, you'll want to pick up the collector's edition. For $80, you can get the GameStop exclusive edition which includes swimsuit costumes for every female character, a hardcover art book, the DoA5 soundtrack, a poster, and an embossed steel case. No images have been released of this special edition, but you can expect more info and jaw-dropping photos to surface in the coming weeks.
It wouldn't be a Dead or Alive game if you couldn't spend more money for women with less clothing. As a female who plays fighting games, I'm a little disappointed I won't be seeing any banana hammocks on the male characters.
Dead or Alive 5 will be released on November 25th for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
