Capcom has revealed the minimum and recommended system specs for the PC version of Resident Evil 7, which is coming out on more than just the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The specs are subject to change, but here’s what they are at the moment:

  • DirectX: Version 11

Additional Notes: 1080P CPU/GPU at 30FPS Players will have to either lower texture or set streaming textures to OFF in order to optimize performance.

Recommended

  • OS: Windows 7,8,8.1,10 64-BIT
  • Processor: Intel Core i7 3770 3.4GHz or AMD or better
  • Memory: 8GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 or AMD Radeon R9 280X or better
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Additional Notes: 1080P CPU/GPU at 60FPS

The game will be released on January 24, 2017, unless there are any delays. The game will also come with support for PS VR and be geared with PS4 Pro support.

In the game, players take on the role of an average Joe named Ethan who finds himself wandering around a mansion in search of his missing wife. It’s set in the same universe as the previous Resident Evil games, so players can expect to find references to characters from the previous titles, although there will not be any elements of all-out destruction and action movie-ness as RE6.
