See the Launch Times for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided’s “System Rift” DLC

September 21, 2016 by Nick Monroe

Adam Jensen will reunite with Francis Pritchard in the first round of DLC for the game.

Around this time last month, the gaming community was introduced to Deus Ex: Mankind Divided for the first time. Critics and the public mutually agreed it was a good title that satisfied the overall expectations everyone had for it. As a follow-up to Deus Ex: Human Revolution, some folks were longing to see certain characters from the first game make a comeback here. One of those missed faces was that of Francis Pritchard, the snarky and sarcastic head of cyber-security back at Serif Industries. While the charismatic CEO of the company resurfaced in Mankind Divided, Pritchard was nowhere to be found during the course of Mankind Divided‘s main plot.

Until now. In the first post-launch DLC for the game, Jensen will reunite with Pritchard in “System Rift,” which is said to be self-contained in itself and won’t spoil the main arc of Mankind Divided in any way.

While it may not alleviate the criticisms people had in regards to the abrupt ending, bringing back an old friend of Jensen’s for an adventure will certainly take everyone’s mind off of it, at least for a while. Even so, the lack of a trailer or any sort of preview pictures for the DLC have some people questioning whether or not this will be any good. What we do know is that Jensen and Pritchard will be investigating the suspicious activities of the Santeau Group, a construction company responsible for building locations like Golem City. To do that, the duo will be breaking into the Palisade Blade data bank – which is one of the most secure places in the Deus Ex world.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The exact times for the System Rift DLC launch are located in the header section above. If you’re interested in seeing more Deus Ex stuff, check out their website, Twitter, and Facebook.
