Ever since Blizzard implemented the BattleTag system for its online service, it has allowed its users to change their BattleTag once. Further changes were prohibited unless the name was somehow deemed unacceptable by the terms of service.
Today, Blizzard has implemented a change allowing gamers to change their BattleTag as many times as they like, provided they pay for it. The first time you change it is still free, but you will have to pay a small fee of $10 for each subsequent change—a small price to pay if you’re tired of being named xXCloudNarutoXx or BestOfHarambe2016.
The move is identical to Microsoft’s, when they allowed players to change their tags on Xbox for a fee.
BattleTags, unlike usernames in World of Warcraft, do not have to be unique, so you can go wild with whatever name you prefer and not worry about squatting any special usernames.
If you want to change your name, head on here.
