Visceral has updated the official Dead Space channel on YouTube with an "official first gameplay" of Dead Space 3 which explains how the game is played.
Dead Space 3's executive producer Steve Papoutsis narrates the video, providing viewers and listeners with an in-depth look at how Isaac and his new partner Carver will work their way through the frozen planet of Tau Volantis. The planet appears to be home to the Necromorphs and the site of their origin.
The video showcases new environments, co-op mechanics, weapons, and enemies. If you've been keeping track of the game, know that this stuff is new, and wasn't shown at E3 2012.
Dead Space 3 is set for release on February 2013 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
