Dawnguard DLC Werewolf and Vampire Perk Trees Detailed

June 15, 2012 by Ian Miles Cheong

You can now discover in detail the perk trees accessible to the Vampire and Werewolf transformation classes.

dawnguard dlc

Dawnguard is the first expansion for Skyrim. It is set to offer two new factions, the Dawnguard and the monsters they hunt—the vampire lords.

With the Dawnguard beta well underway, information about some of its finer details have begun to leak out. Loose lips may sink ships, but we're more than happy to share these details once we got our hands on them.

Revealed today (via leaks) are the new skill trees for the Vampire and the Werewolf transformation classes. You can become a Werewolf in the vanilla version of Skyrim by joining up with the Companions. Take note that you can't be both a Werewolf and a Vampire.

dawnguard vampire perks

Right off the bat, the Vampire Lord receives a 50 point bonus to health, magicka and stamina. You'll have the ability to detect all creatures (just as the perk is called), transform yourself into an invulnerable cloud of mist while regenerating your stats, move quicker with Supernatural Reflexes, heal yourself by killing someone, deal poison damage with your talons, summon a cloud of bats to attack your enemies with Night Cloak, telekinetically pull an enemy towards you while choking them with Vampiric Grip, summon a Gargoyle, and paralyze your foes with a magical blast.

dawnguard werewolf perks

No less powerful, but certainly different, the Werewolf can now perform way more damage with a variety of Bestial Strength perks, and summon a werewolf companion with Totem of the Moon, just to name a couple of the perks. The other perks, like Totem of the Ice Brothers and Totem of the Predator, have yet to have their details explained.

Dawnguard will be out on June 26 for the Xbox 360. The PC and PlayStation 3 versions are soon to follow.
