Sony has released two new videos for Sony Santa Monica's God of War: Ascension and they show both the game's single player and multiplayer.
While it's a bit of a stretch to call the single player footage "new," as they're just snippets of gameplay from Sony's E3 stage demo, it's still worth a watch just to see how sharp the graphics look and to see how the game's not letting up when it comes to brutality.
The more interesting video here is the multiplayer. Admittedly, a ton of people are skeptical on how this will actually work. We already know no one is allowed to be Kratos, but here we get too see actual gameplay being demoed off.
I'm particularly interested in how Quick-Time Events (QTEs) will work in mulitplayer. Can it be interrupted? Will foes be able to fight back? I know a ton of players think that Sony Santa Monica is just riding on the multiplayer bandwagon, but think of it as a bonus when you buy the game. I mean, it's not like anyone's holding a gun to your head forcing you to play it, right?
God of War: Ascension will be out on March 12, 2013 exclusively for the PS3.
