Kirby is the best ball of fluff I know and every gamer’s favorite pink vacuum, so it’s only appropriate that he gets a birthday celebration. In honor of Kirby’s 20th, Nintendo is releasing a Kirby’s “best of” collection disc for the Wii.
According to CoroCoro magazine, Japan will receive Kirby's Dream Collection on July 19th and will retail for 3,800 yen (or around $48). The US will have to wait until September to receive the Dream Collection. Right now we only have details on the Japanese release, as Nintendo of America has yet to confirm details on the North American version.
The compilation will include a soundtrack CD and booklet, as well as the following games, ranging from original Game Boy titles to Nintendo 64:
Kirby’s Dream Land (Game Boy)
Kirby’s Adventure (NES)
Kirby’s Dream Land 2 (Game Boy)
Kirby Super Star (SNES)
Kirby’s Dream Land 3 (SNES)
Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards (N64)
I can’t believe he’s already 20. Just think, in one year he’ll be able to legally vacuum up alcoholic beverages. Oh, how the time flies.
