If you’ve been eyeing Homefront: The Revolution, you’ll soon be able to try the game out completely for free, right on Steam. Thanks to a press release that was sent out, we’re finding out that for this weekend only, gamers will be able to enjoy Homefront: The Revolution with the latest patch.
For those of you who already own Homefront: The Revolution, a new patch was sent out that further optimized the video game which resulted in improving frame rates, GPU visuals, adjustments to enemy spawning, new Resistance Mode missions, and more.
This new patch will be included in the free gameplay weekend and it’s also worth pointing out that Homefront: The Revolution will be discounted during the weekend as well.
Homefront: The Revolution takes place in 2029 in an alternative timeline where North Korea has taken over America. Overall, the game follows Ethan Brady, a member of a resistance movement within the city of Philadelphia.
