Duelyst: Denizens of Shim’zar is now available in-game. It is the game’s first major expansion with over 95 new faction-specific minions, spells, artifacts, and neutral pets.

Each battle is a 1v1 match between two online opponents. Gameplay in Duelyst is turn-based, with players taking cturns to play cards from their hand to cast spells, equip mighty artifacts, or summon deadly minions to move and attack on the battlefield on their behalf.
Gameplay is also very fast-paced, since each match is less than ten minutes long, with a simple winning objective: reduce the enemy General’s health to zero before they do the same to you.
Players can choose from 6 factions to play, each with their own unique minions and positioning strategies. You can build your custom squad from over 300 battle units, spells, and artifacts.
Players can either buy new cards or play dailies and use the spirit orbs they collect to buy card packs in lieu of real-life money.
Although Duelyst is a digital CCG, it turns the formula on its head by having players incorporate a crucial tactical element instead of merely battling with cards. Duelyst therefore offers more depth than its competitors and is a breath of fresh air in the genre.
