Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six Siege has already released and we’re nearing the video game title’s start of its second year in the market. In the past, Ubisoft had allowed gamers to purchase a season pass for the video game, but now it seems that as we approach the title’s second year of being available for purchase, the development team could be working on a brand new season pass that players can pick up.
The news of this second season pass comes from a leaked survey that was posted on Reddit and later shared online through GameSpot. Apparently, Ubisoft has some ideas of what they could do for a new season pass but seems to be getting a gauge of interest from potential consumers.
While the survey post doesn’t directly state just when a second season pass will be launching for Rainbow Six Siege, instead it only states that the various items could be included in a future season pass. This second season pass would make sense as the first season pass was only stated to be available for the first year of Rainbow Six Siege.
From a speculative standpoint, it’s doubtful that this upcoming season pass will unlock certain new DLC map packs as Ubisoft has made these maps available for free in the past year. Although, this new season pass could grant gamers discounts for the in-game store, exclusive cosmetic items, new uniforms, and other unique items.
It’s important to take this information as a rumor for now for the mere fact that Ubisoft has yet to make an official statement on this supposedly leaked survey.
