Shadow Warrior 2 is a slash-cross-shooter game that will be releasing on October 13th for PC. Publisher Devolver Digital and developer Flying Hog announced today, and they also dropped a new trailer for the game.
The game will be available for purchase via Steam, GOG, and Humble for $40. Players who pre-order will get a ten percent discount off of the original price and also the exclusive Razorback chainsaw katana.
In addition, if players own Flying Wild Hog’s previous games Shadow Warrior and Hard Reset Redux, they will earn an additional ten percent off of the pre-order price as a “thank you for being a ninja from the start.”
Shadow Warrior 2 was first announced back in 2015. The game is a direct sequel to 2013’s Shadow Warrior, which was a re imagining of the 1999 game of the same namesake. Shadow Warrior protagonist Lo Wang has returned for the sequel, which continues the previous game’s story.
