Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 was apparently shown to members of the press in private, who battled in head to head combat in the game's deathmatch multiplayer mode.
An IGN employee took these photos and published them on the company's official Instagram feed, which show Activision's Black Ops 2 staging area, the list of participating players, and a gameplay shot.
From these photographs, which have since been removed, we can gather a number of new details about Call of Duty: Black Ops 2's multiplayer mode. They are as follows:
- The highest rank before prestige is 55.
- There is a select fire option on certain weapons.
- The XM8 is referred to as the M8A1.
- The Killstreak selection interface has been changed, at least for the PC version.
- The C.L.A.W. and FA-38 are Killstreak options.
Keep in mind that all pertinent details are subject to change, as the game's not out yet.
