Sony's E3 press conference showed the first-ever glimpse of God of War: Ascension's single-player and it managed to turn a few heads — though it looked to be more of the same.
Now the publisher has announced what players can expect when they buy the game's Collector's Edition next year. Fans can expect to have their very own Kratos statue that stands 8" as the edition's centerpiece. In addition to that, it will also contain a premium steel book game case with a digital version of the game's official soundtrack.
Of course it can't be a Collector's Edition without the necessary digital doodads that complement today's bundles.
Aside from the contents mentioned, players can expect to receive a God of War: Ascension PS3 dynamic theme, PSN avatar, double XP points for mulitplayer and a DLC pass that will net you all the game's future DLC for free.
The good news is the Collector's Edition will be priced at a reasonable $79.99 and won't be retailer-specific. So you can order where it's most convenient for you.
The Collector's Edition will be avaialble the same date as the game's vanilla version which is on March 12, 2013.
