Today is the big launch day for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. PC gamers can head over to Steam right now and plop down sixty bucks and start downloading or you can be savvy and use two good alternative PC games retailer with discounts up to 30% off. There’s even a big discount on the more expensive Deluxe Edition too.

The most popular retailer to post a discount for is GMG where a 25% discount reigns supreme. A solid $15 in savings come off with a drop from $60 to $45 on the Standard Edition. GMG also is the only site online known to have a discount on the Digital Deluxe Edition of Dues Ex: Mankind Divided with a price cut from $90 to $67.50.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Deals

  • Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Digital Deluxe (Steam Key) — $67.49 at GMG
  • Deus Ex: Mankind Divided (Steam Key) — $44.99 at GMG
  • Deus Ex: Mankind Divided (Steam Key) — $41.99 at DLGamer

Note: Login is required to see full 25% off for Deluxe (which is currently only showing 10% off).

GMG has the only Deluxe Edition discount, but isn’t the only other option for a discount on the Standard Edition. Also in the works is DLGamer who has reduced the price from $60 to $41.99 – a huge 30% drop. Both retailers are of course sending keys instantly after purchase given the game is now released.

Deluxe or Standard?

With this 25% discount on PC, one question you may ask yourself is whether to pre-order the Deluxe or Standard Edition. There’s two ways to look at this question, and it’s a bit more complicated with the discount, so bear with us.

If we were during the pre-order phase and you were going to pay full price the answer is obvious – you should just pick the Standard Edition.  The Deluxe Edition confers no real advantage on Day 1. You get all the same pre-order bonuses, which includes an extra mission, 3 skin packs, and more. All that is the same, in fact the only thing different is the Deluxe comes with a Season Pass.

But now that the game is released and pre-order bonuses are gone – you may want to consider the 25% discount on the Deluxe given it will still include some of “Day 1” Edition content, along with the Season Pass. Thankfully, details on the Season Pass has been revealed just yesterday at the official site.

Content currently includes two story DLC called “System Rift” and “A Criminal Past” one available later this fall and one early 2017. A bunch of in-game items will be available on release day today, including: assault pack, tactical pack, 4 praxis kits, 5k credits, 1k crafting parts, 5 breach booster packs, and finally 20 breach chipsets.

The reason to buy Deluxe now is to take advantage of the current savings. Season Passes are not like they use to be. Games like Fallout 4, XCOM 2, Doom, and Star Wars: Battlefront have all been notorious for not discounting their Season Pass until well after all the content has released.

Thus, by nabbing GMG’s 25% discount on the Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Deluxe now guarantees you 25% off the game + Season Pass no matter what. Of course, this is only if you’re satisfied with all the aspect and review of the game now that its released. It’s all a personal preference.
