August 18, 2016 by Nick Monroe

One of the year’s most anticipated games has a release date right around the corner.

Fans of the Deus Ex series don’t have to wait too much longer for the next main entry into the franchise. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is the continuation of the story that started with 2011’s Deus Ex: Human Revolution back during the last console generation of video games. Adam Jensen’s story is just one of many unfolding in the changed World of 2029, with the global population readjusting their views on Augmented humans after a horrific incident has people in disarray.

We’ve learned a lot about this game already from Square Enix, who’ve been fairly in-depth about their previews for the title. One of the most recent inside looks came out back during E3, showing off the Prague City-Hub.  When it came to showcasing the fundamental things we need to know about what’s in store with this game, this demo was effective at that. Adam Jensen is on a mission to stop an Illuminati scheme, and he’ll need to utilize his newly enhanced augmentation arsenal of abilities to do that. But all the shiny new weapons can’t solve all his problems. Similar to how Deus Ex: Mankind Divided lets you pick your tactics and gameplay approach, the story of how Jensen’s journey unfolds changes based on the player’s decisions.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided comes out on August 23rd for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. For content to hold your hype over in the meantime, check out their website, Twitter, and Facebook.
