Eager Warhammer 40K fans will be glad to know that the release date of Space Hulk: Deathwing got a more specific November window, rather than the more ambiguous 2016 estimate given originally. This and more are revealed in the Gamescom trailer for the game, uploaded over at Focus Home Interactive’s YouTube channel.
Deathwing is a tactical FPS game where your squad of soldiers is thrust into battle against the Genestealer monsters infesting the ruins of space ships. In either singleplayer or multiplayer flavors, your goal for the game is trying to find the source of this psychic trickery lurking about on the Space Hulk Olethros. The key to victory in battle is picking the best tools out of the wide variety of ranged and melee weapons made available to you, and aptly leveling up your character and teaching them the right skills. But all of that might be for naught if you don’t use the choke points and environment to your advantage. It’s a thin line between victory and death at all times.
Space Hulk: Deathwing comes out for PC in November 2016. To learn more about the game, check out their website, Twitter, and Facebook.
