Sony has been driving a lot of effort towards popularizing its PlayStation Vita and will undoubtedly announce a number of new titles at this year's E3, which is slated to happen in June.
The publisher may not have any plans to unveil the PlayStation 4 this year, but it has been rumored to have a partnership in the works with a "leading cloud gaming service" that may either be Gaikai or OnLive.
The partnership deal would involve the PlayStation Vita, which means that playing OnLive or Gaikai's library of games on the Vita is a strong possibility given the device's built-in WiFi and 3G.
The bombshell that Sony was working on a partnership with a cloud gaming service dropped in a speculative piece by Patrick Garratt on VG247, which mostly revolved around the Wii U and what they have to show at the upcoming convention.
Needless to say, the upcoming E3 is going to be an exciting one, especially for the PS Vita.
