Nintendo announced today that eight games are being added to the $20 Nintendo Selects lineup: which include The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD and Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon. Nintendo has also revealed a new Nintendo 3DS system (at a lower price) and several Wii U/Amiibo bundles.
Staring August 26th, Wind Waker HD and Dark Moon, as well as Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Tomodachi Life, Nintendogs + Cats Golden Retriever & New Friends, Lego City Undercover, Lego City Undercover: The Chase Begins, and Nintendo Land will see their prices permanently drop to $20.
There are dozens of Nintendo Selects titles already available, including The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D and Super Mario 3D World. Nintendo also announced a new Super Mario 3D Land Edition New Nintendo 3DS system.
The $150 system will be released on August 26th and comes with a pre-installed copy of Super Mario 3D Land, as well as two interchangeable Mario-themed cover plates. One of which features 8-bit versions of the iconic Nintendo characters. Look for this system exclusively at Walmart and Target.
Nintendo also announced that it will launch new Wii U + Amiibo bundles on September 9th. On that day Nintendo will launch five new bundles for $40 each. These include:
