2k Games released a new trailer for BioShock: The Collection, which specifically focuses on the remastered version of BioShock. The 2007 game is looking better than ever, but it is unclear what platform this game footage was captured on.
2k has said, “all games in the collection run at 1080p” and “up to 60 FPS”, so regardless the games will look impressive on all platforms.
The Collection includes remastered versions of BioShock, BioShock 2, and BioShock Infinite. All single player DLC is included for the three games, and The Collection also comes with a video series with commentary from director Ken Levine and lead artist Shawn Robertson.
Bioshock and BioShock 2 will be remastered for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, while Infinite is only getting a remastered version for consoles. The Collection for PC does include Infinite, but this will not be a remastered version of this particular game.
PC players may also be able to get The Collection for free. If you already own BioShock, BioShock 2, and/or the Minerva’s Den BioShock 2 DLC on Steam, you can get a free upgrade to the remastered versions of the games.
The Collection will debut on September 13th for all platforms.
