Could Konami's latest Metal Gear game — Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance — be slipping into a 2013 release? If online retailer Amazon's listing is to be believed, why, yes it is!
Amazon is currently listing the game's released date on "February 28, 2013." This puts the release date day on a Thursday and I wouldn't bet on it being a placeholder date. It's also worth noting that retailers often get release dates well in advance compared to us ordinary folks. Y'know, for shipping, display concerns and whatnot.
If the game is indeed being released in 2013, it's not that surprising as the Platinum Games-developed slasher has been marred by game delays ever since it was announced.
The last bit of gameplay we've seen from the game was at last year's E3; and now we're being bombarded by atrocious live-action trailers for the game — which, undoubtedly will culminate at another E3 reveal.
Here's to hoping everything will be clear once E3 rolls around.
