Dungeons & Dragons Online has been out for half a decade, and has seen numerous content additions since its release. Turbine announced today its plans to release a full fledged expansion pack to the cooperative online RPG.
Titled D&D Online: Menace of the Underdark, the expansion pack is set for release on June 25, and you’ll need a copy of the original game installed to access the new content.
The new content includes all new lands, new enemies, and the addition of the all new Druid class, allowing players to summon animal companions and trample enemies to death with them. The Druid will only be unlocked as a separate character on the DDO Store in August, so the only way to access it straight away is to pick up the expansion pack.
Players will venture deep into the Underdark this time around, so expect to do battle against blind gnomes, the Illithid, and dark elves.
