Ubisoft is well underway promoting Assassin's Creed 3 and Far Cry 3 (the latter having some fantastic footage released just last night), but there's been a strange silence on last year's E3 announcement, Brother in Arms: Furious 4 from Gearbox. Your friendly neighborhood internet detective, Superannuation noticed Ubisoft dropped the trademarks they had on file for the game.
While that is admittedly a bad sign, silence is par for the course for Gearbox who's busy this year with Borderlands 2 and presumably the oft-delayed Aliens: Colonial Marines. The latter has a particularly long development time and it's never seemed like that's been purely so Fox could attempt to cross-promote it with Prometheus, either.
It wouldn't surprise me in the least if BIA: F4 was on track to have a similarly lengthy time in the over. An amount of time too long for Ubisoft perhaps.
