If you ever wanted to hear "Snaaaake!!!" while on the go, now's your chance as Konami has just given a firm release date for the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection for the PlayStation Vita.
Metal Gear Solid HD Collection will be out on June 12 and will include HD versions of Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. The PS Vita versions will add touchscreen controls, Trophy support and what Kojima oddly calls "Transfarring" implementation between the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
For those not familar with "transfarring," what it essentially means is that players can save their game data on Sony's cloud storage or use wi-fi to let the PS3 and PS Vita "communicate." Long story short, you can play your PS3 game on the go with the PS Vita with your current PS3 game save data.
Now, if only the MGS HD Collection can somehow make sense of Metal Gear Solid 2's story, no?
