It seems Sony might have leaked Mass Effect 3's upcoming Rebellion DLC well before BioWare's official announcement. Now, before you get excited, it won't be about the game's single-player campaign; but, instead be, for the game's surprisingly enjoyable multiplayer.
The leak comes from Sony's Hong Kong website — which, has since pulled the post. Now, while there's no Google cache or screenshot, the pack's and description can be read below.
"In-game reinforcement packs now include three new weapons as well as equipment, consumables, and six new classes: Quarian Engineer and Infiltrator, Vorcha Soldier and Sentinel, Phoenix Adept and Vanguard. The battle continues – hold the line!"
Yep, it's multiplayer DLC complete with all the bells and whistles associated with Mass Effect 3's multiplayer packs. Aside from the new classes, items and weapons, the Rebellion DLC will also add two new maps to the mix: Firebase Jade (a jungle reservoir) and Firebase Goddess on Thessia.
Supposedly, the site also states that the DLC should be out today. — which we don't know if it's a date mix-up or not. In any case, let's wait for BioWare and EA to release the official word on this expansion's availability and cost.
