Amazing Spider-Man Gets Playable Stan Lee as Pre-Order Exclusive Content

May 9, 2012 by Ian Miles Cheong

You can play as the creator of Spiderman in this DLC.

Stan Lee!

Activision has announced some rather, shall we say, "amazing" exclusives for their upcoming game, The Amazing Spider-Man. Developed by Beenox, the game is set to receive an exclusive pre-order DLC in the form of a playable character—Stan Lee if you get it from Amazon.

You'll take on the role of the creator of Spiderman himself, Stan Lee, who borrows Spidey's abilities to collect pages of his latest script in a race around the city of Manhattan. More than just a skin, Stan Lee comes with his own set of dialogue, and there's apparently a surprise planned at the end of the mission.

Those who pick up the game from GameStop will get The Rhino Challenge DLC instead of Stan Lee. In this DLC, players will take on the role of RHINO, a freak genetically engineered for causing destruction and mayhem.

Both DLCs are available for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
