Well if you were planning on picking up No Man’s Sky on PC from developers Hello Games then you’ll have to wait just a little bit longer. Turns out that the PC version of the video game was hit with a delay, however, it doesn’t look like gamers will have to wait too much longer compared to the PlayStation 4 release.
Waiting for the release of No Man’s Sky has had its ups and downs. The upcoming highly anticipated indie title was originally set to release last month on June 21, 2016, however, the game was hit with a delay for a launch of August 9, 2016.
Now we’re looking at yet another delay for at least the PC platform according to video game’s main website, as it turns out the indie title will be launching just a few short days later on August 12, 2016. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like there’s a clear reason as to why the game was hit with another delay, but at the very least, it’s just three days late and not being postponed for another month.
For now, the PlayStation 4 version of the game is still on track for a launch on August 9, 2016, and best of all, it was recently announced that gamers won’t need a PlayStation Plus subscription in order to enjoy the game online. Normally, to enjoy video games online, Sony would require gamers to be an active PlayStation Plus member, though, for the upcoming No Man’s Sky, gamers who are not PS Plus members will only be restricted from registering their discoveries on the game’s universal atlas.
