Max Payne 3 has become something unique. It is the epitome of “old and new.” It seems to have the gusto seen in previous Max Payne games, but is also not afraid to fly new colors.
The gap in technology since Max Payne 2’s 2003 release is astonishing, but Rockstar Games has taken the reigns and cast Max Payne as a middle-aged man who must save his daughter. This plays pretty well into the twelve-year gap in iterations, and makes sense of the whole situation.
Well, today, some more screenshots showed up. If you did not think Rockstar could improve upon their graphics after L.A. Noire – think again. Hopefully this Rockstar title will not burn a hole in the back of my Playstation 3, like L.A. Noire did…
In any case, are you excited for the franchise’s third title? Sometimes it is better to leave a good series in the past, but the game in question is shaping up to be exactly what Max Payne fans want.
