The Berserk video game is headed to Western markets this Autumn. The original manga from back in the 1990s talks about Guts is taken by Griffith, and their gang ends up stopping a 100 year war in the Midland country. They try and take power to rule the Kingdom, but things head South and the group is forced to live in exile.
So what’s the video game going to focus on? It’ll be a fighting game at it’s core. You’ll be experiencing the story of Guts, a mercenary. Alongside him is Griffith, who’s a Merc leader of a gang called “Band of the Hawk”. Guts and Griffith will use their swords to hack and slash their way through hordes of demonic enemies. Battle mechanics like Magic and Transformations help spice the combat up a bit.
