Naughty Dog's Richard Lemarchand has just left the company to pursue a teaching opportunity at the Univeristy of Southern California.
Lemarchand was most recently the co-designer on Naughty Dog's Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. He will be joining USC's Interactive Media Division, which trained both Jenova Chen and Kellee Santiago—the creators of Journey and Flower.
Speaking to Gamasutra, Lemarchand expressed his excitement at his new prospect.
"I've always been a very hands-on game designer," Lemarchand said. "And I'm a big believer that no matter what level you're working at on a project, it's a very great thing to be able to stay connected to the practical processes of building out a game."
