A rumor is flying around the internet, as usual, this time about Nexon’s supposed bid on Electronic Arts. Nexon is mainly an MMO company, it’s most known MMO is Maplestory. I have no idea what the person who thought up this rumor was on but my aunt wants to know what it is and where she can get some. Jokes aside, my BS alarm is going off quite feverishly right now. There is no way that EA would even consider being bought out by Nexon.
The only truth about that has been gained from this rumor is that EA’s stock rose 6% some how. Also, neither EA or Nexon will comment due to this being a “rumor”. That just makes things worse doesn’t it? By not commenting they’re not denying and not confirming this rumor. It’s just feeding more fuel to the fire. Oh well, just that much more for us game journalists to write about.
