Brawlout was announced today and it’s clearly evident that the development team, Angry Mob Games, has taken some inspiration from Nintendo’s longstanding fighter, Super Smash Bros. However, within Brawlout, developers put in new animal kingdom fighters compared to iconic and recognizable video game characters. Take a look at the announcement trailer posted above.

Keeping the same style mechanics of a platformer-fighter, but replacing the main characters with ancient civilization animal kingdoms and you’ll get Brawlout. This is a new platforming fighter that is said to have taken aspects of old school brawlers with new fan favorite features within the fighting genre.

As mentioned, the game is said to feature a large tournament where one fighter from each civilization will represent their people in combat. With the support of up to eight players online and local coop, these matches can get intense quickly.

However, we still have to wait until we can get our hands on a copy of the game. So far, Brawlout is slated to release sometime next year for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. For now, take a look at the trailer posted above along with game gallery down below.
