Daydreamer: Awakened To Become a PS4 Exclusive Game

July 10, 2016 by Kris Kittie

Sad news for those who play on an Xbox One.

No reason provided for Xbox One release cancellation.
No reason provided for Xbox One release cancellation.

In a press release, Atlus USA has announced that they are making their combination platformer/shooter Daydreamer: Awakened a PS4 exclusive game. The game is slated for release for PS4 on July 12th in North America, Europe, and Asia through the PlayStation Store.

The game will be priced at $9.99 and there will be an additional 20% discount offered during the first week of the game’s release as an added bonus to entice interested players.

The press release did not provide a reason as of yet for the cancellation of the Xbox One release. It solely stated that the game will not be released for Microsoft’s console and will only be available on the PS4.

Initially the game was set to be released for both platforms, but with this most recent press release, the Xbox One version looks like it will not come to fruition.
