We've still got quite a wait before season of 3 of AMC's The Walking Dead returns to television in October, but TellTale's TWD adventure game should help to keep the fans from getting to rabid (See what I did there?)
Episode 1 of The Walking Dead is coming to the PC, Mac, and PlayStation Network, tomorrow, reports ShackNews. This first chapter is called, "A New Day". It's going for $4.99 on each platform, but you can pre-order the whole season for $20 if you're feeling confident in it's quality.
There's no word on when the Xbox Live and iOS version will be available, but hopefully it's not too long a wait.
The only thing that worries me about TWD is, based on what I've heard, the voice acting just isn't up to snuff. The Walking Dead is a human drama and as much as the sillyness of the television adaption is mocked, the strong performances that line it are what keep my watching.
To that end, Naughty Dog's The Last Of Us is so far, for me, the official un-official TWD game. That said, I'll probably still give TellTale a chance, at least.
